A “kalo” or “taro” farmer with his 'o’o' or digging stick. Kalo grows best in muddy conditions and the o’o is used to make a hole for planting.

Dietrich Varez personally hand screens and signs each of his brown, monocolor block prints on 80 lb. acid-free bond paper. Paper size is 9"x12" with image size smaller. Your print of 'Kalo' comes with Dietrich's biography gently packaged flat in a cardboard sleeve.
